Female Aesthetic Surgery

Woman's body

Over the years, genital aesthetic surgery has become a popular option for women unhappy with their aesthetic appearance, as well as their gratification during the sexual experience. A woman's body perception and appearance can have a significant impact on her life, happiness, and self-image. As women age, their bodies change and this includes the look and shape of genitalia.

Female sexual enhancement is any treatment or procedure used to enhance and improve a woman's self-esteem regarding the appearance of her genitalia. These include any procedures resulting in an improvement in a woman's self-image and body image. Female sexual enhancement would also include the medical treatment of women with vaginal atrophy, issues of sexual desire and orgasm as well as vaginal pain.
The natural function and appearance of women's most intimate areas of the body may have been damaged or changed due to factors such as:

  • Aging
  • Pregnancy and childbirth
  • Weight gain or weight loss

Aesthetic Procedures Offered

Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation® (LVR)

Vaginal relaxation occurs because of age, childbirth, weight loss and gain. With vaginal relaxation, the muscles are relaxed and have poor tone, strength, and control. As a result, the vagina is no longer at its optimum physiological state and the sensual side of sexual gratification is diminished.

LVR is an outpatient surgical procedure designed to enhance women’s sexual gratification. LVR effectively enhances vaginal muscle tone, strength, and control, as it builds up and strengthens the perineal body. In addition, the external appearance of the vulva and perineum is improved.

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty® (DLV) is the aesthetic surgical enhancement of the vulvar structures, labia majora, mons pubis, perineum, introitus, and hymen. These procedures are all designed to give a woman confidence in her genital appearance as well as confidence in her ability to achieve complete gratification during sexual intercourse.

Labiaplasty

In women with labial enlargement, the tissue can hang down a few inches outside the labia majora or outer labia causing women to feel self-conscious and uncomfortable and can cause problems with intercourse and intimacy. Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reshape or reduce the size of the skin which surrounds the vaginal opening. Many women who have enlarged labia feel embarrassed, self-conscious, and even shy away from intimacy.

Labiaplasty has proven to be life-changing for many women, helping them to regain confidence in their appearance and their sexuality.

Clitoral Hood Reduction

The clitoral hood or prepuce is the tissue that covers and surrounds the clitoris, the highly sensitive and arousing erectile tissue of the female body. Enlargement of the clitoral hood can negatively impact sexual pleasure. The procedure to reduce the clitoral hood is a simple, outpatient procedure where the hood is surgically incised and an adequate amount of tissue removed to allow for the clitoris to be stimulated easily.

Pubic Lift and Liposuction

The mons pubis is the soft, rounded mound of tissue overlying the pubic bone located right above the female genitalia. As women age, after childbirth or with weight gain or loss, this area can change, becoming enlarged or having redundant skin. Occasionally, it can become enlarged so that the area appears more masculine and protrudes through clothes.

Liposuction can be performed in this area and redundant skin and fat can be surgically removed. This area can also be lifted to give a more streamlined appearance. This procedure can be combined with fat transfer to the labia majora.

Hymenoplasty

Hymenoplasty involves repairing and reconstructing the hymen, or the thin, elastic membrane which typically covers part of the vaginal opening. Repair of the hymen is performed most commonly for religious or cultural reasons.
